To start off the 2009 Season, Tizoxic placed 10th with Ambush. Through the season he moved up the ranks and found himself finishing in 4th in Anaheim with Dynasty. The move from the Top 12 to the Top 4 is very impressive and that is why he was awarded the Old Spice Rising Star Award.

His most memorable event was was attending his second event, Chicago 07. He got 11th place in the Pro FFA and it was the first time he got to play with the big names in MLG on LAN.
